Outdoor Activities

Our multi-activity days are perfect for getting pupils out of the classroom trying something exciting and adventurous. We’ve got a great range of activities to choose from – all designed to challenge your young people personally, socially, mentally and physically.

The benefits of outdoor activities are significant, and a multi-activity course will help your pupils to develop in new ways. They will learn more about themselves and each other, and you should see the rewards back at school with greater self-esteempositive attitudes and higher levels of attainment.

“We brought 60 students for a 'multi activity day'. We were over the moon with the experience; it provided a great ending to the year. The day ran effortlessly and the staff were continually motivating and enthusiastic”
Colin Rockley, Bishop Rawstorne C of E High School, Croston, Lancashire

Residential Trips

If you really want to bring out the best in your pupils bring them on a residential trip - from just one night to a whole week. The experiences of staying away from home help them develop initiative and become more self-reliant, while our programs allow them to develop strong supportive relationships with each other over time.

“We will stay longer next time we come back , Rock & River offers excellent value for money!”
St Anne’s College Grammar School Staff, Lytham St Annes

We will keep them busy from breakfast to bedtime, while our trained staff make sure they have an experience they’ll never forget. Find out more about our barn converted bunkhouse by following this link:
