Dylan's Diary - Wednesday 6th July 2011

Hello there, it's me Dylan the Dog again. I just wanted to give you all a canine update on just some of the lovely groups we had at the centre last week. As I said these are just some of the groups, we are now so busy in the middle of our season that I'm sorry if I don't mention everyone who came!

We had some great primary schools doing activities with us like, Lathom Park Primary who did a real mix of activities including Climbing Tower and Archery. And, not only did they build rafts here, they also built dens as part of our Woodland Learning sessions.

Crawford Village Primary had a great time here too. They also tackled the Climbing Tower and Archery. They also did some Kayaking and Orienteering as well as some of the High Ropes like Leap of Faith and the Vines.

St Georges Primary also booked in with us last week and did lots of the above as well as some Open Canoes!

In the evening we had Penwortham Scout group hire out our lake to do some Kayaking and Open Canoeing and Parbold Cubs did the same. 5th Ormskirk Guides however went for the drier option and had some great fun on the Balance Beam and Leap of Faith. Oh wait, they did end up on the water too doing some Raft Building. I'm sure though being girl guides they made excellent rafts that meant they did not end up in the water! But then again.....

Tottington High School came last week too and they can in large numbers. If I wasn't such a brave dog I would have found it all a little over-bearing! They had a go on just about everything including the Climbing Wall, Rifles and some High Ropes.

We had a corporate group in too last week - Barclays Bank. They had a fab time trying their hand at Raft Building, the Vines and the Zip Line

As I said there may be some groups who I have not mentioned as we had lots in. I am after all only a dog and taking note of all the people that visit is a bit tricky sometimes! My sincere canine apologies to those who did not get a mention - I still love you all!

Until the next time!

Adios
